CLINICS
Antenatal Clinic - Thursday 9.30 - 11.15am
Patients are seen by the midwife at the clinic by appointment and also by doctors during surgery hours.
Asthma Clinic
This is run by the practice nurse in conjunction with the doctors, by appointment only.
Diabetic Clinic
This is run by the doctors, by appointment only.
Family Planning
Contraceptive care is provided by all the doctors and the practice nurse during normal surgery hours.
Flu Vaccination
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing homes. Please contact the surgery in September for details of vaccination dates and to make an appointment.
Immunisation Clinic
This is run by the practice nurse, by appointment only.
Non-NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please ask at reception for the charges for these services when making your appointment.
Patients Over 75
If you are aged 75 or over you should be seen annually either by your doctor, the practice nurse, district nurse or health visitor. This can be arranged at the surgery or, if that is not possible, a home visit will be arranged.
Travel Immunisation / Vaccinations
Please make an appointment four to six weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover.
Well Woman Clinics
This clinic is run by the practice nurse for smears and discussions on women's health issues.
